Abstract: This is a TBL module used in a 4-credit hour graduate level Dysphagia course required for students pursuing a master’s of speech-language pathology. This is one of five modules in a one semester course, with each module spanning several class periods. This particular module focuses on major patient populations at increased risk for swallowing disorders (dysphagia), including neurology, pulmonary, head and neck cancer, esophageal, trauma/surgery, and tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients.
