Abstract: This is a TBL module that we use in a course for student nurses called “Care of Clients with Acute and Long-term Conditions”. In this module, students learn about the underlying pathophysiology of shock in order to understand and better recognize the signs and symptoms in their clients, and therefore promote timely and effective nursing interventions.
