TBLC Editorial Board Committee Update

The Team-Based Learning Collaborative (TBLC) would like to offer information and updates on all the committees that help to make TBLC an effective organization. This month, we’d like to present our Editorial Board and what it does for the Collaborative.

The TBLC Editorial Board facilitates the peer-review and publication of TBL modules submitted by the TBLC membership. The Editorial Board executive editor, Bonny Dickinson, PhD (Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, MD School of Medicine), associate editor, Lindsay Davidson, MD (Queens University School of Medicine), and TBLC Account Manager Danielle Inscoe (JulNet Solutions, LLC) work with reviewers and authors to publish peer-reviewed TBL modules to the TBLC resource bank. There are currently 70 ready-to-use TBL modules in the resource bank in the fields of business, management, health disciplines, basic science, history, and English literature. Modules are contributed by faculty from schools of medicine, schools of pharmacy, and colleges and universities. Nearly 50 TBLC members have contributed to the resource bank by serving as module reviewers.

We invite you to submit your TBL modules to the resource bank, serve a reviewer for the bank, and to access materials published to the TBLC resource bank on the TBLC website at http://www.teambasedlearning.org/tblc-resource-bank/.

We’d like to extend a sincere thank you to our 44 current reviewers for all of their hard work. If you have an interest in serving as a reviewer for the resource bank or would like more information about the resource bank and the editorial board, please contact Danielle Inscoe (TBLC Account Manager) at Danielle@tblcadmin.org.
