Dr. Wilson is an Associate Professor of Health Sciences, in the Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences at Chapman University. She currently teaches undergraduate Human Anatomy and Neuroscience but has experiences using TBL in graduate medical school education as well. She began her TBL training in 2011 at the University of Alaska Anchorage, WWAMI School of Medical Education, and completed her certification to become a TBLC consultant in the spring 2018. Dr. Wilson has trained undergraduate, graduate, medical, and Nursing professionals in the use of TBL. She is also interested in how to incorporate TBL with technological innovations such as the Anatomage virtual cadavers and three-dimensional anatomical model printing.

She received her B.S. in Neuroscience from Allegheny College PA, and her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Arizona. Her primary research interests include nervous system evolution and how technology can be used in anatomy education.
