The Team-Based Learning Collaborative (TBLC) invites all educators to attend our 21st annual Conference on Team-Based Learning scheduled for March 5-8, 2022 at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, USA. “Imagining TBL Possibilities in an Ever-Changing World” will be the central theme for the conference, in which attendees will not only have the opportunity to learn more about the utilization of TBL, but will also explore strategies to adapt to diverse learners and diverse learning needs.
When: March 5-8, 2022
Where: Orlando, Florida, USA with portions to be delivered virtually
Meeting Highlights: New to the 2022 conference are virtual and in-person pre-conference workshops. One week before the opening of the main conference, all attendees will have access to virtual interactive sessions, to be offered in time zones more accessible for international audiences. In person pre-conference workshops will be held on Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6 and will offer all five workshops needed to complete the TBLC Fundamentals Certificate (link the page). The main conference will begin Sunday evening with an opening plenary by Dr. Larry Michaelsen, creator of Team-based Learning. Dr. Michael Sweet, Director of Design and Integration at the Center for Advancing Teaching & Learning Through Research at Northeastern University will deliver a second plenary address on March 7. Both speakers are sure to deliver stimulating and thought provoking sessions.
During the main conference we are excited to introduce two new attendance tracks: All Access Live and Virtual-Only. Virtual-Only attendees will enjoy access to the full library of online poster presentations, oral presentations, synchronous virtual workshops and recordings of each plenary address. All Access Live attendees will have access to all the virtual options as well as the extended schedule of course offerings each day, meet and greet sessions, networking and more.
The 21st Annual TBLC Conference is gearing up to be an experience filled with engaging sessions and plenty of networking opportunities for all who attend. We hope you will plan to join us in March for this exciting reimagining of what it means to bring TBL to educators around the globe.
