Out of an abundance of caution, we must announce the cancellation of the in-person elements of TBLC 2022 annual conference that was to be held in Orlando, Florida, March 5-8, 2022. We are exploring virtual and postponed meeting alternatives and seeking feedback from membership to help chart a way forward together.
Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, the Executive Committee met several times and discussed our abilities to safely host the annual conference. We looked at interruptions in travel, regional and national case numbers, current feedback regarding registration hesitancy, and historical trends to help us.
We need your input on the conference format
that works best for you.
Options include a virtual-only conference March 6-8, 2022 (sessions delivered 9am-5pm EST), a longitudinal virtual conference with sessions delivered across multiple weeks with varying start times to accommodate a variety of time zones and schedules, postpone the conference to Fall 2022 (date/location TBD), or postpone the conference to March 2023 (date/location TBD). Submit your feedback here to help us know which option will work best for you. Your preferences will be shared with the TBLC Steering Committee to determine the conference structure that best meets our membership needs.
Updates regarding the conference format will be shared no later than the beginning of February 2022. All current registrants and presenters will be contacted individually to collaborate and help meet your needs.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we plan the next steps for the 2022 meeting.
Thank you,
