Dr. Lerchenfeldt is an assistant professor of pharmacology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine (OUWB) in Rochester, Michigan. She is currently a Co-Director for the Hematology-Lymphoid Organ System Course and the Psychopathology Course. At OUWB, Dr. Lerchenfeldt is actively involved with the TBL curriculum, including the creation, improvement, and facilitation of all TBL modules. She has mentored several faculty members with the development of new TBL activities. Dr. Lerchenfeldt enjoys utilizing TBL as it helps students make the connection between the basic and clinical sciences and assists in the development of skills for lifelong learning. As an active member of the TBLC, Dr. Lerchenfeldt is involved with the Editorial Board and Scholarship Committee.
