Janna Valente Chimeli has been teaching Introduction to Statistics to undergraduate students since 2010. In 2014 she was part of the development of education curriculum using TBL as the method of teaching in the Business School at Ohio University. She received her PhD from Ohio University in Experimental Psychology, with concentration on Cognitive Psychology – Judgment and Decision Making.

Janna began using a TBL in her statistics class to enhance students’ retention of information in a way that is fun, and promote students’ engagement and participation.
