Chris Eidson, OTR/L, is an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s School of Health Professions. He has practiced and taught occupational therapy since 1999, and has been a faculty member since 2006. He has taught numerous courses in the occupational therapy curriculum, and has done a multitude of presentations at the state, regional, and national levels on topics related to team-based learning, service learning, and practicum training. He has been an appointed Faculty Teaching Fellow through the UAB Center for Teaching and Learning since 2015. He teaches close to 300 contact hours using TBL per academic year, and has converted several traditionally formatted classes into TBL.
