Dr. Mincer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida. She also has a Master of Science degree in orthopedic physical therapy, and her EdD in Curriculum Studies, and has been teaching in the Physical Therapy program at Georgia Southern University (formerly Armstrong State) since 1996, where she has been recognized with various teaching honors. Team-based Learning provides the structural underpinning for nearly all of her teaching.

Dr. Mincer has more than 30 years of clinical experience in a variety of practice areas, including acute care, cardiopulmonary, general rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, general orthopedics, and geriatric home care. She currently practices part-time in acute care. Current research interests include the scholarship of teaching and learning, student assessment, and orthopedic examination and treatment, especially spine stabilization assessment and training. She enjoys being able to add qualitative and mixed methods to her quantitative research.
