Jessica has spent the last 10 years honing her facilitation skills through teaching in both Problem-based Learning (PBL) and Team-based Learning (TBL) classrooms. With her background in physiology, she taught biomedical sciences through PBL in a local polytechnic and now facilitate in TBL classes in an undergraduate medical school. Her experience and interest in educational development has led her to design and conduct faculty development programmes to support faculty in non-didactic large group teaching. Currently, she leads the school’s TBL Series Workshops which prepare faculty to teach in TBL classes and to help improve their pedagogical understanding and facilitation skills.
